I am happy to announce that we will be able to welcome guests again to our holiday home Pijpeweg 71 as of August 2025.
In addition to 2 extra bedrooms, each with their own bathroom we have also implemented an outdoor swimming pool in the large garden.
A total of 8 guests (and 2 children) can now comfortably stay in our renovated Pijpeweg 71.

PIJPEWEG 71 is a stunning cottage set on the edge of classical Flemish landscape, yet only a few minutes' drive from historic Bruges, the charming village of Damme and the exclusive coastal resort Knokke. The cottage overlooks fields and is just the place for a relaxing break in style, far from busy city life.

PIJPEWEG 71 has all the latest fixtures and fittings you would expect from an elegant holiday home. The interior décor combines granite, blue stone, linen, woods and easy colours in an effortless style that the Flemish are renowned for.
With a large beautifully landscaped garden and heated outdoor swimming pool combined with a vista across neighbouring fields, the cottage is an ideal location to enjoy joyful moments with families and friends.

Holiday home perfectly located just outside Bruges
PIJPEWEG 71 is the ideal setting for a relaxing break. It is also the perfect hideaway from which to explore the historic Bruges and Damme, as well as Knokke, the nearby smart coastal resort.
Luxury stay for 7 guests
The house consists of the original farm and a recently (2024/2025) completed extension.
In the old part there are 3 bedrooms - all located on the first floor of the holiday home. Bedroom 1 has a double bed (160cm), bedroom 2 has 2 single beds (90cm) - bedroom 3 with a beautiful view of the garden has a double bed (180cm). To get to bedroom 3 you have to go through bedroom 2. In addition, the accommodation on the ground floor has 1 spacious bathroom with rain shower and bath and there are also 2 separate toilets. The kitchen is fully equipped and equipped with all modern comforts. The dining area has a wood-burning fireplace with an adjacent cozy sitting area with digital TV. Finally, at the back of the house there is a second seating area from which you have a panoramic view of the polders.
It is through this seating area that the extension was connected via a passerelle. In this extension we have provided 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, each with their own bathroom with (sink, walk-in shower and toilet). Both rooms, which are open to the ridge, have a double bed and in the mezzanine - accessible via a ladder - there is extra sleeping space for a child.
There is off-road parking outside the cottage and storage for bikes.

In the garden, the south-facing terrace, a large natural pond and the shadow of the orchard provide an outdoor haven that draws your eye to the landscape beyond.

- During the week a minimum stay of 3 nights is required
- A weekend always includes Friday AND Saturday - check-out on Sunday is at 18:00. Sunday can be added (supl +125€)

Explanation different rates:
- Rate 1: basic rental price applicable in 2024 with the exception of periods indicated below
- Rate 2: rental price applicable from 29th of March until 30th of September
- During summer (28/6-15/9) the house is normally only rented per week. Exceptions can be asked.
- For the Easter weekend Ascencion weekend , Pencote weekend: nightly rate of 500€ - minimum 3 nights
If during the stay at the house a party in small group is organised (which is only possible after approval at the moment of reservation) a supplement will be added to the rental price. Please contact us for more information.
Conditions
Reservation policy
After your reservation enquiry we will send you a property rental contract. In order to confirm your booking, we ask you to sign the document and return it to us within 7 days. You will also need to pay a 50% deposit via bank transfer. As soon as we have received your signed contract and payment, the reservation will be confirmed. 60 days prior to arrival, the balance needs to be paid in full.
A deposit of €250 also needs to be paid via banktransfer prior to arrival; This deposit will be repaid within 14 days of departure, once inspection of the cottage and the inventory has taken place. If damages occur, the deposit will be accordingly reduced by the cost for repairing the damages or make up for the loss. In the unlikely event that the amount of the damage exceeds the amount of the deposit, an estimate will be made for your insurer.
Normal Cancellation policy
- For cancellations more than 60 days before check-in, no deposit will be reimbursed.
- For cancellations between 30 and 60 days prior to arrival and under the condition that the full rental amount has been paid, 25% of total rental fee will be reimbursed.
- For cancellations less than 30 days before arrival, no refund will be made.
Special cancellation policy COVID-19
For guests with Belgian nationality:
- If the Belgian National Security Council decides that holiday homes need to stay closed or that they have to close again at the moment of check-in, a 100% refund of the amount paid by the guest will be made.
- If the Belgian National Security Council puts in place travel restrictions inhibiting Belgians to travel in Belgium at the moment of check-in, a 100% refund of the amount paid by the guest will be made.
- If the guest needs to cancel a reservation because of Covid-19 infection, the normal cancellation policy is in place; A personal travel insurance might cover this.
- Cancellations for any other reason fall under the normal cancellation policy.
For guests with foreign nationality:
- If the Belgian National Security Council decides that holiday homes need to stay closed or that they have to close again at the moment of check-in, a 100% refund of the amount paid by the guest will be made.
- If travel restrictions imposed by Belgium prevent guest for travelling into Belgium athe the moment of check-in, a 100% refund of the amount paid by the guest will be made.
- If travel restrictions imposed by the country of residence of the guest prevent the guest to come to Belgium, the normal cancellation policy applies.
- If the guest needs to cancel a reservation because of Covid-19 infection, the normal cancellation policy is in place; A personal travel insurance might be a good idea.
- Cancellations for any other reason fall under the normal cancellation policy.
