A unique collection of holiday homes in & around Bruges
A few years ago we started renovating properties around Bruges. The idea was to design places where we could welcome guests in a setting with character and charisma and full of all the luxury and comfort that we look for ourselves when deciding on a holiday or weekend destination elsewhere with our family.
Our first project was the renovation of holiday cottage Pijpeweg71 idyllically located in the green outskirts of Bruges.
With it cosy atmosphere and its beautiful setting in a large landscaped garden, this holiday home has a lot to offer to its guests, whether they are friends or families and this all year round! It is the ideal location from which to embark on an exciting journey discovering all the great things the area has to offer from the historic City of Bruges, to the charming town of Damme to the beach town of Knokke; On top of being ideally located and thanks to its charming interior with 2 open fire places and a beautiful garden with sun-drenched terrace, holiday cottage Pijpeweg71 definitely is also is the right place to laze under the trees, read a good book, have a nice glass of wine, ……..In short a great spot to relax and to take a breath!
In order to extend our portfolio of holiday accommodations whilst keeping in mind that a lot of visitors come to Bruges without a car and therefor don’t find their way to Pijpeweg71, we started looking for opportunities in the centre of Bruges.
It was quite the search but eventually we came across 2 very typically Bruges adjacent townhouses ideally located in one of central Bruges' most residential areas, just around the corner of the market. And so a period of challenging renovation works started! Finally at the beginning of 2018 we are ready to welcome our first guests in holiday houses Diephuys 14A & Diephuys 14B, the new additions to our portfolio. With their cosy interior and their perfect location in central Bruges, the holiday houses are the ideal location from which to discover Bruges at your own pace. Start the day with a nice breakfast in the cosy kitchen, take a stroll in the city and have lunch in one of the many top places Bruges has to offer, try squeezing in a stop at a museum or two or do some shopping to then finally return to your haven of peace and quiet in your holiday house Diephuys 14 where you can enjoy the rest of the evening drinking a nice glass of wine and enjoying some delicacies you picked up along your walk through the city;
With these two newly decorated holiday houses added to our portfolio, we are now looking into new and other opportunities to welcome guests. We will start by renovating a holiday apartment in Knokke in the near future so that we can invite guests to come and enjoy this superb Belgian coastal town with its beautiful beaches, its stunning nature and its trendy boutiques! Furthermore we are looking into the possibilities of welcoming bigger families or a bigger group of friends in a beautiful setting just outside Bruges! Watch this space!
